Boo at the Zoo

Head over to the Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport from 12pm to 3pm on the 27th of October. Here you will get to enjoy the zoo like never before, at night, and you never know which dangerous creature you could run into around the corner. You will also get to enjoy harvest hayrides for only $2 per head, story time, cool critters, lots of candy, and many more seasonal delights. Kids below 12 years of age, costumed, and accompanied by a paying adult will get into the premises absolutely free, so drag the little ones along for this one.

Nautical Nightmares

Visit the Mystic Seaport enjoy Nautical Nightmares on the Mystic River. This show has been inspired by the literary works of horror author, H.P. Lovecraft. You are welcome to join the exploration of the haunted ship along with the alienists of Arkham and gradually discover the madness that is haunting the community. The whole escapade lasts about one hour over half a mile of rugged terrain including wood planking, cobblestone, grass, stairs, and gravel. This event will go down between the 26th and 28th of October every day from 6pm, with teams of explorers leaving every 15 minutes.

Monster Mash Party

The Monster Mash Party is a weeklong event scheduled to go down between the 23rd and the 31st of October. Head over to the Stepping Stones Museum for Children in Norwalk and engage in exciting activities that are sure to jolt you into the holiday spirit of this frightful season. You will get to enjoy a week’s worth of costume competitions, creature features, hat sorting, face painting, magic shows, mask making, make-believe monsters, pumpkin decorating, pumping parades, and pretend science lab experiments. The event will begin every day at 10am and come to an end at 5pm. The daily fees for this event is only $15 per person.
