Head over to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens at 132 Botanical Gardens Drive in Maine, anytime between the 15th of November to the 31st of December. Here you will get to witness over 650,000 interwoven LED lights across 14 acres of the gardens. You will begin your journey at an ethereal corridor filled with dancing lights before entering the magnificently lit wonderland, and if this doesn’t put you in a festive mood, we don’t know what will. In addition to the dramatic lighting, you will also get to enjoy music, hot chocolate, snacks, and do some holiday shopping at the garden shop. Stop at the Boothbay Harbor and take a Shuttle bus to the garden any day from 4 pm.
Christmas in Weston
Visit the town of Weston on the in December for a full day of Christmas fun at the Vermont village. This Christmas experience will give you a chance to enjoy horse-drawn wagons, a visit with Mr. & Mrs. Clause, a petting zoo, and a reading of ‘The Night Before Christmas’ at the local Library. You will also get to enjoy some holiday shopping at the Grand Village Green Gallery and the Weston Village Christmas Shop. If you still have time, you could also visit the Church on the Hill which will be hosting a live Christmas caroling concert featuring Patricia Connelly. We recommend that you stick around till dark to witness the lighting of the town’s Christmas tree.
