Does your dad love boats? Our guess is, all dads do, so this may very well be a universal option for a Father’s Day celebration. This cruise is organized by the Lady Katharine Cruises group at the Desert Eagle Landing State Park in Haddam. Treat your dad to this amazing boat ride and enjoy a scrumptious lunch buffet and some live entertainment. The cruise kicks off at 11am on the 17th of June and comes to an end at 2pm, so don’t be late. Admission cost will range from $30 to $60 and is completely free for kids below 4; all tickets are non-refundable.

Father’s Day Jazz Brunch

If your dad is the artistic type, then this Father’s Day brunch might just be the thing for him. Head over to the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art in Hartford on the 17th of June and treat the head of the family to a delicious brunch and musical entertainment primarily from the Orice Jenkins Trio. Make the most of the experience by exploring the museum after your meal; it will also give you some extra bonding time. Tickets to this event are only $40 per head, which comes with a complimentary mimosa.

Father’s Day Car Show

What better way to celebrate Father’s Day than by attending a car show? This year, the New England Auto Museum is bringing a car show to the grounds of the extraordinary Lockwood Mansion in Norwalk for Father’s Day. The event kicks off at 10am and comes to an end at 3pm; there will be hundreds of unique cars to view, so don’t be late or you won’t have time to go through them all. Admission to this event is completely free but attendees are encouraged to make donations of whatever amount to the museum’s education and building funds. There will be food stands available for anyone who gets hungry and after you are done exploring the vehicles you can visit the Stepping Stones Children’s Museum, right next door. This event is perfect for the whole family, so tag everyone along.
