2018 Easter Activities and Events in Connecticut

The Easter holiday always brings a lot of buzz in Connecticut, which means that the final days of March and the early days of April will be filled with numerous exciting activities. Our Connecticut Limo Service has put together some of our favorite activities and events for this year’s Easter celebrations to ensure that your experience is as lively and memorable as possible.

Also, consider using our Connecticut Car Service for all your transportation needs. As we all know, the Easter festivity, like any other festivity is a time of heavy activity and, as a result, you can expect heavy traffic and movement all over the state, which can make moving from one point to another a nightmare. Our car service is here to take that load off of you; with us, all you have to do is relax and enjoy the company of your family and friends and let our professional chauffeurs get you to any venue of your choice in an expedient, safe, and comfortable manner.

Easter Bunny Trolley

Try the Easter Bunny Trolley at the Shoreline Trolley Museum in East Haven. The event is scheduled for the 24th, 25th, 30th, and 31st of March from 11 am to 4 pm each day. Here you will get to ride the trolley, pay a visit to the Easter Bunny, create arts and crafts, and partake in numerous other springtime activities. General admission goes for only $10 and is free for children below the age of 2. You can either purchase your tickets at the gate or purchase them online now to ease your admission process

Easter Cupcake Basket and Cookie Workshop

This is one for the kids. Head over to the Lyman Orchards Apple Barrel in Middlefield on the 30th and 31st of March between 10 am and 3 pm where you and the kids will get the chance to bake and decorate various delicious Easter treats. If this sounds like something you and the little ones would enjoy doing, admission will only be $20 per child. Note, however, that pre-paid reservations are a must, so make your reservations right now in order to secure a spot.

Whose Egg Is It?

This egg hunt will take place at the Northwest Park in Windsor on the 31st of March from 11 am to 1 pm. Each Windsor resident will pay only $3 while non-residents will pay $5. The Northwest Park is a picturesque location with magnificent views and facilities including an animal barn, a nature center, and a playground for the kids. To participate in the actual egg hunt, however, you will need to call in advance to reserve your spot and, upon arrival, you will be required to make your payment at the Nature Center. Once the kids have retrieved the eggs (some filled with treats and others camouflaged as bird eggs), they will be allowed to enjoy their treats as they try to match the camouflaged eggs to the correct bird nests. This will not only be a fun experience, but it will also be a learning opportunity for the young ones.
